After a few postpones and changes of venue, Daffodils and friends finally got to perform in front of an eager crowd, filling up the elegant greek doric architecture that is Hopetoun Alpha. K M T P

Daffodils were accompanied by an outstanding group of friends and bands. Opening with K M T P, it was a delight to see them for the first time, Keria’s passion and emotion were radiating out of him. My favourite song they performed was one about friends 'I love my Friends'. A personal favourite New Zealand band of mine followed after K M T P, Carb on Carb! It had been too long since I'd seen the emo-pop duo, when 'It's been a rough year' started playing I couldn't help but think that it indeed has been.

Daffodils

Daffodils were met on stage with screams of joy from the crowd; larger and louder than I have ever seen at one of their headlining shows. I grew up going to all age gigs every weekend, and I feel now that there are far fewer around for the next generation, so for Elemental Festival to put on these all age shows is priceless for the youth. The venue was excellent with great acts and a fantastic, enthusiastic crowd, not to mention how nice it was to leave the house and spend time around other humans, its the small things in life we need to look forward too during these times.
