Right, I'm done. I don't have to see any more shows this year. I can die happy.
Lela's show was held in the gallery on Krd. Which couldn't be more Lela, her home turf surrounded by people who love her work and what she does!
This collection of Lela's drew elements from the earth and how she impacts the world and how her pieces are all Biodegradable and from the planet, with hair and make-up drawing on those elements too. The make-up was very minimal with the same colour on lips, cheeks and eyes with bright yellow fake lashes on both top and bottom lids. The hair looked as if it had mud and dirt all through it.
It was interesting to see Lela using more colours and coloured patterned but it looked terrific especially combined with giant Worm necklaces (I now want one!).
